Frequently Asked Questions

Do the Fruits & Berries or Vegetable capsules contain any fibre?

There are trace amounts of fibre contained in each capsule, but not enough to fulfil daily dietary intake. That's why we recommend you use these to top up your fruit, berry and vegetable intake and not replace it entirely. Supplements are not meant to replace a balanced diet.

Are children able to take either the Fruits & Berries or Vegetable capsules?

If your child is able to swallow capsules, there is no reason why they cannot top up their intake of fruits, berries and vegetables with these capsules.

If not, simply empty the contents of the capsule into some juice or sprinkle it over food.

How do 12 different types of Fruits & Berries or Vegetables fit into one capsule?

The special transformation process, which utilises the whole fruit to begin with, enables us to harness the goodness of nature and then desiccate it, allowing encapsulation.

What is ORAC testing?

ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity and is a methodology developed in the United States to measure the antioxidant capacities of different foods.

How many serves are included in each capsule?

This is not an easy question to answer as recommended serving sizes differ between fruits and vegetables, and not all fruits, berries & vegetables have the same ORAC values.

These capsules are intended to supplement the intake of fruits, berries & vegetables, not replace them. Both formulations have been ORAC tested here in Australia to quantify the antioxidant capacity.

Most recommendations suggest you eat a wide variety of fruits, berries & vegetables, which is why both Fruits & Berries and Vegetables contain a wide variety - 12 different fruits & berries and 12 vegetables - something not always easily achieved on a daily basis.

What is the difference between these formulations and a standard multi-vitamin?

The key difference between Daily Fruits & Berries and Daily Vegetables and a multi-vitamin is the Daily range is made from 100% natural ingredients, whilst some multi-vitamins use a synthetic, man made version of each vitamin and mineral contained in the formulation.

Are the fruits, berries and vegetables grown organically?

There are varying definitions of "organic", just as there appear to be varying degrees of "organic". Certainly the 100% natural ingredients of both the Daily Fruits & Berries and Daily Vegetables capsules are grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides - a critical requirement when seeking organic certification.

Can I take these capsules whilst on other medications?

The contents of these capsules are 100% natural and contain only the fruits & berries or vegetables listed on the side of each respective pack. If you are allowed fruits, berries & vegetables in your diet, then you can take these capsules.

If your diet has been restricted by your healthcare professional to exclude fruits, berries & vegetables, then you should not take either formulation without consulting them.

As always, if you're unsure, we recommend you consult your health care professional.

Can I take Daily Fruits & Berries and Daily Vegetables while I'm pregnant?

Both Daily Fruits & Berries and Daily Vegetables contain nothing but 100% natural ingredients, so unless your diet has been restricted to exclude fruits, berries or vegetables, there is no reason you can't supplement your diet with either during your pregnancy. We do strongly suggest that you consult your healthcare professional prior to starting on any form of supplementation during pregnancy.

I am gluten intolerant, which of these products is suitable for me?

If you have an intolerance for gluten, you can confidently take the Daily Fruits & Berries capsules as neither the contents of the capsule, or the capsule itself contains any gluten.

Because of the presence of wheatgrass in the Daily Vegetable formulation there is a very small gluten content.
